Hair Tattoo Scalp Micropigmentation Treatments

Hairline Solutions was founded on the Gold Coast in 2011, when Aaron Grundy introduced professional SMP to Australia. Since then, we have been refining our techniques, resulting in a look today that is very different from ‘standard SMP’.  We use a very gradual, layered approach in your sessions to assess exactly where we're at and what it needs next, adjusting needle size and pigment strength to create the soft, natural signature look that has guys driving and flying hours to work with us.

We use a natural, mineral-based pigment developed specifically for Scalp Micropigmentation, not permanent tattoo ink, which is well known to discolour, fade unevenly, and migrate under the skin over time.

Using an ultra-fine needle, we deposit tiny dots of specialised pigment into the scalp — mimicking the appearance of real hair follicles — not just flat or drawn-on ‘dots’. We use your natural hair density, colour, and hair growth direction to match the tattooed hair follicles and create our unique signature style.

Most clients describe the sensation as mild, more like light scratching than a typical tattoo. Sessions usually run a few hours, and you're back to normal activities straight after — no downtime or recovery needed.
